Reset.

It's that time again!! The snow season has begun!!!!!

I've been counting down the days till I would have a chance to be surrounded by snow again. Now don't get me wrong, I love all those warm sunny days spent rollerblading by the beach... but really, there is nothing like waking up when it's still dark & brisk outside and watching the sun come up as you're on your way to the mountains! It's so beautiful. And the anticipation of seeing those little flecks of snow on the side of the road as you get higher and higher up the mountain? Ahhh... I live for those moments. I'm like a kid on Christmas... my eyes light up and the butterflies begin. Love it.

So anyways, this past Thursday, my friend & I were up before the sun, hitting good ol' Starbucks then on our way to the mountains! The whole day was perfect... great weather, good snow and it just got me thinking about how nice it is to change up the scenery once in a while.
Everyone has their own way of pressing their internal reset button - a trip to the snow is definitely mine. My friend and I had a great conversation on the long drive back to our beach city about how refreshing it is to escape from the madness of life for a while and just enjoy what we love to do. We both left so calm and re-inspired, ready to start the week again.

So cheers to the start of a new week, being re-inspired and new ideas! Look out world, I have a hunch big things are on the horizon.
